Epic Cash Desktop and Epic Cash Mobile
Two wallets for Epic Cash, made by BT LABS:
- Epic Cash Desktop for Windows and Linux, with a preview for macOS.
- Epic Cash Mobile for Android, with a preview for iPhone and iPad.
Both are the same app with the same wallet core, so they use the same addresses, the same words and the same Help. A recovery phrase made in one opens the wallet in the other.
What the wallet does
- Holds your EPIC. The keys stay on your device, locked with a password (desktop) or a PIN (phone).
- Sends and receives over Epicbox, the everyday way: the other wallet does not have to be online at the same time.
- Also sends straight to another open wallet (Link · HTTP, Link · Tor), by file (Direct · File Transfer), or phone to phone with an animated QR code (Direct · QR Payment).
- Connects to the Epic Cash network through a node: a public one by default, or your own.
- Optional Tor, on the desktop and on Android.
Where to start
- Install the app for your device.
- Create your first wallet and write down the recovery phrase.
- Receive and send.
If something does not work, read Troubleshooting. Words you do not know are in the Glossary.
note
The apps are new. Keep your recovery phrase written down, and start with small amounts.
